This past weekend, Austin was dominated by the people coming to watch the Formula 1 races. Although watching a car race would be extremely fun, the tickets were too expensive for my budget, so I just stuck to the free event that accompanies the Formula 1 races, Austin Fan Fest. Held in downtown Austin, the Austin Fan Fest is a four day free event that has interactive displays, meet and greets with the drivers, and Free Concerts.
If there's anything I love more than food, it's concerts. And, when they're free it's like the icing on the cake.
Because of my schedule and previous plans, the only day I would be able to make it out to the Fan Fest was on Saturday, November 16. Luckily, the headliner, Andy Grammer was hitting the stage that night at 8 PM.

I had the pleasure of seeing Andy Grammer two years ago at a show in Pharr, Texas called Mix Mas, put on by one of the local radio stations. He was an amazing performer, and I was excited to have the opportunity to see him again. So, I dragged Kim (she's my closest friend here in Austin) out to the show with me.
Needless to say, we had a blast!
Andy Grammer put on an amazing show! His music is so upbeat and happy, it put me in an insanely amazing mood. He covered the song "Chasing Cars" by Snow Patrol (one of my favorite songs) and my heart literally melted. Plus, he jumped into the crowd, walked around, and he gave me a hug. I also got an almost selfie with him (my phone sucks, and takes forever to take a picture & when it took he moved).
Definitely one of the highlights of my time here in Austin.
What is your favorite concert memory?
