DIY Deer Head

Deer Heads are a beautiful way to make any space feel rustic and country-like.
I found an amazing spin on the traditional Deer Head, the Do-It-Yourself way at Chronicle Books Blog.

Here, I have re-created their amazing idea, but mini sized!
It's a perfect project for anyone, especially college students who want to add some flair to their dorm rooms.

Materials:

Large index cards (4in. x 6in.)
Pencil
Scissors
Decorating Material (Crayons, Markers, Colored Pencils, etc.)
Templates
     Deer Mount (1 Copy)
     Nose (1 Copy)
     Antlers (1 Copy)
     Deer Body (1 Copy)
     Deer Head (2 Copies)

Steps

Templates:

1. Open the templates on your computer.
2. Place an index card over the template, and trace it.

**If you feel that your screen might be ruined, you can print out the templates and trace the images on the index card.**
3. Decorate your templates that are now traced onto the index cards.
4. Cut them out.

Assembly:

The following images show where each piece is attached according to the deer head:
